Sometimes a simple meeting can lead to a remarkable outcome. That’s what happened when Go For Vertical CEO Edward Cruz was introduced to Community Investment Corporation Executive Director Danny Knee.

It turns out that CIC had been running their Mortgage Credit Certificate program with a 15-year -old desktop application that was written in Microsoft Access. Needless to say, the system was starting to show it’s age, and was becoming a struggle to use for this important service.

G4V came in and guided the CIC through the Vertical process, creating the roadmap and blueprint to replace this aging system with a new Oracle-based enterprise platform. We even helped them find a seasoned engineer with a security clearance and deep Oracle experience to build it.

This new enterprise version of the system was delivered for less than $10k, a fraction of what it would cost to build with software development approaches.

The new MCC platform was successfully launched in 2019.
